The Recording Secretary, Treasurer, and one (2) Members-at-Large shall be elected during each even-numbered year.The President, Vice-President, Corresponding Secretary, and two (1) Member-at-Large shall be elected during each odd numberedyear.
SECTION II:TYPE OF BALLOT
Officers shall be elected at the annual meeting from a slate of candidates prepared by the Nominating Committee.The Chair will accept nominations from the floor at theannual meeting in addition to the nominating committee slate. Election shall be by closed ballot. A tie vote shall be decided by lot.
SECTION III:NUMBER OF NOMINEES
There shall be at least (2) names for each office and election shall be by closed ballot.A tie vote shall be decided by lot.
SECTION IV:CHARACTERISTICS OF BALLOTING
A prepared ballot with biographies of each candidate shall be available at the annual meeting.
SECTION V:START OF TERM OF OFFICE
All terms of office shall start on the day of election.
SECTION VI:ELIGIBILITY LIMITATIONS
The President should serve no more than one two year term. Other officers may serve two (2) consecutive terms in the same office. Officers, including the President, shall not be eligible again for the same office until an interval of two (2) years has elapsed.
SECTION VII: VACANCIES
In the event of a vacancy in the office of President, the Vice-President shall become President for the duration of the term.In the event of vacancy in any other office including Member-at-Large, the Executive Board shall fill said office by appointment for the duration of the term.
